All staff who carry out appraisals will need to attend the 3.5 hour New Process training session which will update you on the new approach and process. If you are a new manager, or feel you could benefit from some additional support, you may also like to attend our Effective Appraisals training session which as also available.
The "Values Based Appraisal - New Process" and "Effective Appraisals" training are available to attend both in person and virtually (using Microsoft Teams). Please ensure you book on to the correct session to suit your needs.
This 2.5 hour session is aimed at managers and supervisors who are responsible for conducting appraisals with their staff members. It will update you on the new process as well as provide you with a thorough understanding of the new approach and the benefits to both you and your staff. The training focusses on measuring values and behaviours alongside performance objectives, developing a person-centered approach to appraisal, and succession planning within the organisation.

This 2.5 hour session is aimed at staff who are new to conducting appraisals, or who feel they could benefit from additional support in holding an appraisal conversation. This training covers conversation style, improving listening skills, productive questioning, and feedback skills.
Please note this session does not cover the new appraisal process and you will still need to attend the "Values Based Appraisal - New Process" session before completing an appraisal with your staff.
