Temporary Staffing Department

The Health Board employs approximately 14,500 staff and provides health services to a population of around 472,400 people living in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. We also serve a wider population across South and Mid Wales for a range of specialties and value the skills and experience of our temporary workforce as key to delivering safe and effective care.

We are looking for dedicated health professionals to work across our various hospital sites and service areas:

  • University Hospital of Wales
  • University Hospital of Llandough
  • Barry Hospital
  • St David’s Hospital
  • Primary Care

How to apply or book shifts

The Temporary Staffing Department is open as follows:

Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 6:30pm
Saturday: 8:30am to 4:30pm

If so, then we need people like you!  We are seeking Health Care Support Workers who are able to work effectively in a variety of settings, wards and departments as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You must have experience of delivering care in this or an equivalent role within a health care providing organisation.
