Urgent (Out of Hours) Service

The Urgent Out of Hours Service provides urgent medical care for patients who cannot wait until their GP surgery is next open.

Urgent care does not include minor illnesses such as coughs, colds, runny noses etc. These can be treated through self-care or by visiting your community pharmacy.

The NHS 111 Wales website provides a range of information on health conditions and illnesses, a symptom checker and guidance on who to contact for the right care, first time.

The NHS 111 Wales website should be your first port of call if you are feeling unwell and are unsure of your symptoms or who you should go to for help.

You can access the urgent out of hours service by calling 111 when your GP Surgery is closed and you cannot wait for it to reopen.  We welcome phone calls in Welsh and English.
