Sexual health advice and contraception is available at various services, for example, your GP practice and community pharmacy.
Community pharmacies can provide over-the-counter products such as condoms, pregnancy tests, emergency contraception and bridging contraception. Pharmacies can also provide free NHS contraception services, including the provision of emergency and bridging contraception.

If you’re worried that you’ve been exposed to HIV through sex in the last 72 hours, and require PEP, you can contact the Department of Sexual Health on 02921 835 208 Monday to Friday from 9am – 3pm. Outside of these hours, you can visit the Emergency Unit.
If you would like to start PrEP, call the Department of Sexual Health on 02921 835 208 during opening hours. You will be offered a booked telephone consultation on a Tuesday evening.
If you are already prescribed PrEP, you can request a repeat prescription through the the online form. Please do this when you open your last bottle (1 months’ supply).
