If you need urgent eye care or have an eye problem that occurs suddenly, contact your local optometrist straight away.

If your optometrist decides you qualify for a free Examination for Urgent Eye Problems, it will be free of charge.

If you have dry eyes and conjunctivitis, your community pharmacy may be able to provide free treatment under the Common Ailments Service
