Patients receiving treatment within this service are seen on a day stay basis. Treatments consist of surgical procedures for adults and children, and there are dedicated lists for restorative work for children and patients with special needs.
Patients are accepted via internal referrals from various clinics throughout the Dental Hospital. All patients will receive a pre-assessment undertaken by general nurses to determine their suitability for treatment under general anaesthetic.
This service also provides treatments for patients who are anxious about having dental care, and more specifically about having multiple fillings or removal of teeth.
GA Day Surgery is situated on the Ground Floor.
