The Community Dental Service (CDS) offers the following services to patients who meet CDS criteria:
Dental treatment for adults with additional needs who fulfil the special care dentistry requirements and children in need of specialised paediatric dental care
Domiciliary Service for those that are unable attend a clinic
Mobile dental service (both school and clinic based)
School-based dental screening and preventative programme, ‘Designed to Smile’ (D2S)
Dental treatment under conscious sedation.
Improving Oral Health for people Living in care homes, through delivery of the ‘Gwên am Byth’(GAB) programme.
Dental care to the adults experiencing homelessness.
Dental care to HMP Cardiff.
Hearing loop system available in all of our clinics.
Emergency dental treatment sessions provided at some of our sites, triage and pre-booking required via the Emergency Dental Line (0300 10 20 247).
Interpretation services via Language line are also available in some clinics.
