Foundation Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care Level 2 - Social Care (Adults) Cymraeg


This programme will guide and assess the development of the knowledge and skills of those employed within the health and social care sector. The qualifications included will be relevant to those supporting adults in roles such as:

  • Care assistants/support workers/key workers in residential, day settings or domiciliary services
  • Support workers in supported living projects

On completion of this apprenticeship framework, the candidate will receive the following qualifications and certificates:

  • City & Guilds Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Adults)
  • Essential Skills Wales – Application of Number Level 1, Communication Level 2 and ICT Level 1
  • Foundation Apprenticeship in Health and Social Care

Apprenticeship in Health & Social Care Level 3 - Social Care (Adults) Cymraeg

 

This programme will guide and assess the development of the knowledge and skills of those employed within the health and social care sector. The qualifications included will be relevant to those supporting adults in roles such as:

Foundation Apprenticeship in Health Level 2 (Clinical Healthcare Support) Cymraeg

 

This programme will guide and assess the development of the knowledge and skills of those employed within clinical support services roles, for example in roles that provide vital assistance to healthcare professionals diagnosing, treating and caring for patients. They work in clinical services such as medical, surgical, outpatients, community and A&E. They are involved in looking after the well-being and comfort of patients in roles such as:

  • Clinical Healthcare Support Worker
  • Healthcare Assistant

On completion of this apprenticeship framework, the candidate will receive the following qualifications and certificates:

  • Agored Cymru Level 2 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support
  • Essential Application of Number Skills Level 1 and Essential Communication Skills Level 1
  • City and Guilds Level 2 Award in Employment and Personal Learning Skills in Health
  • Foundation Apprenticeship in Health (Clinical Healthcare Support)

Apprenticeship in Health Level 3 (Clinical Healthcare Support) Cymraeg

 

This programme will guide and assess the development of the knowledge and skills of those employed within clinical support services roles, for example in roles that provide vital assistance to healthcare professionals diagnosing, treating and caring for patients. They will work in clinical services or provide assistance to paramedics responding to emergency calls. They may have a supervisory role and be employed as;

  • Clinical Healthcare Support Worker
  • Emergency Care Assistant

On completion of this apprenticeship framework, the candidate will receive the following qualifications and certificates:

  • City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma in Clinical Healthcare Support
  • Essential Application of Number Skills Level 2 and Essential Communication Skills Level 2
  • City and Guilds Level 3 Award in Employment and Personal Learning Skills in Health
  • Apprenticeship in Health (Clinical Healthcare Support)
