South Wales Cancer Network

Cancer treatment in the UK is organised in networks. Within Wales there are currently 2 cancer networks

The South Wales cancer network currently covers 75% of the land mass and has a population of 2.3million. Gynaecological cancers are managed within these networks.

The SEWGOC at the University Hospital of Llandough is one of 2 gynaecological cancer centres in South Wales. Although the network covers a number of general hospitals in South Wales, not all the hospitals have their referral stream to us for both historical and logistical reasons. The following hospitals lie within the South Wales Cancer network and those that refer to SEWGOC are highlighted here.
