We also have junior doctors working within the ILD team. We have an ILD clinical research fellow working within the team and respiratory registrars who will rotate to working within the ILD team during their rotation in Cardiff. These staff are essential members of our team, and help deliver your care.

Supportive Care Team
You may also be seen by the supportive care team who we work closely with. There is a monthly multidisciplinary (MDT) meeting where we discuss cases managed by both teams together. This is attended by multiple healthcare professionals such as consultants, physiotherapist, occupational therapist and nurse specialists in order to provide the best support available for our patients.

ILD MDT meeting
Once a week we have a specialised meeting where we meet to discuss cases. Such specialist discussions help with improved diagnosis and future treatment planning.
