The Cardiff ILD MDT are a research active team and we encourage our patients to be involved in cutting edge research. We may invite you to participate in a clinical trial. Clinical trials run alongside your usual care and do not impact any care you receive from our team.

TIPAL - The effectiveness and risks of Treating people with Idiopathic Pulmonary fibrosis with the Addition of Lansoprazole - For patients with Idiopathic Pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)

Stavinsky study - aims to establish if antibody testing can identify who remains at greatest risk of severe COVID-19 infection after vaccinations  - Open to all patients with ILD / interstitial lung disease
