Whilst you are on disease modified treatment (DMT) you will need to have appointments for blood monitoring. The frequency of this depends on DMT you are prescribed.
Blood monitoring appointments are all held at University Hospital of Wales/ University Hospital of LLandough/ Royal Glamorgan Hospital/ Ysbyty Cwm Rhonnda/ Ysbyty Cwm Cynon/ Prince Charles Hospital. You will be send your blood form in the post with your appointment letter. Please remember to take the blood form with you to the hospital.
Please make every effort to attend your blood monitoring appointment. If for any reason you are unable to attend, please ring 02920745018 to re arrange.
Do not ask your GP to take bloods for DMT monitoring as they are not in a position to do so.
