The Community Dental Service provides a dental service for some patient groups who are unable to access a general dental practitioner. This cohort includes:
Adults and children with one or more of the following: a physical disability, a learning disability, complex medical conditions, severe sensory impairment, severe mental health conditions or dental anxiety or phobia which prevent the person accessing general dental services.
People seeking sanctuary within Cardiff and the Vale
Children who are under the care of the local authority
People living in care or nursing homes
People who are homebound
Adults experiencing homelessness
