This depends on the type of wheelchair issued. Most of our manual wheelchairs are easily lifted, and weight and handling are features we look for when selecting our range. Some wheelchairs have a folding mechanism to make transport easier. All self-propelling wheelchairs have quick-release wheels. Powered wheelchairs are much heavier and must not be lifted.
