Candidates for medical attachment placements must be a fully qualified medical doctor in the UK or your Home Country. UK professional registration is not required as no hands-on activities are allowed.

In order to apply for the attachment programmes candidates will need to complete the online digital application form and provide the following documentation:
Passport (Which must be in date and have at least a 6 month validity)
National ID or Driving Licence
Visitor Visa or Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) (if you do not have a UK passport)
Generally, international medical doctors from outside the UK will need a standard visitor visa to come to the UK. A standard visitor visa lasts for six months maximum.
Certificate of Good Standing (Police Issued) check from home country (and translation) or Basic DBS Check (for UK Residents)
Two proofs of address
Occupational Health Clearance (You will be required to undertake a Medical Occupational Health Screening prior to commencement of your placement and must achieve a Clear status before you will be granted a clinical attachment, If you have a medical condition for which adjustments are required to enable you to carry out your placement, you must inform the Medical Resourcing & Systems Department in advance of your placement.) You will need to submit Evidence of immunity to:
Hepatitis B (antibodies)
Measles and Rubella or evidence of having had two MMR vaccinations
BCG vaccination or evidence of immunity to tuberculosis (TB)
Immunity to chicken pox.
Two professional reference letters (Which must be returned to us before you start)
You will also be required to complete 3 training modules with regards to Safeguarding of Children, Adults and Domestic Abuse as part of the on-boarding process. These courses are mandatory and you won't be able to start until these have been completed and you achieved the 80%+ pass rate for them and we have seen evidence of this
