Does the vaccine have side effects?

The most common side effect is a bit of pain where the injection was given. Some people feel a quick sting at the time, and the area might look a little red. Other side effects include a mild headache, sore muscles, feeling tired, or a slight fever. These reactions are usually mild and don’t last long.
