Emergency contraception can be used up to 120 hours after unprotected sex (no contraception) or contraception failure (split condom).
You may be offered a copper intrauterine device (IUD or copper coil) or an oral tablet depending on your preferences. The healthcare professional can advise you of the best emergency contraception for you.
Please contact us on 02921 835208 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). A receptionist will take your details and ask for a brief reason for your call.
A clinician will call you back from an 02921 or private number to discuss your emergency contraception options and book an appointment for you. We welcome phone calls in Welsh and in English.
