NCUK offer a one-off travel grant of up to £100 if needed, the application must be completed by a healthcare professional on your behalf. Please let us know if you would like us to do this (02921842807).
Alternatively, Welsh Ambulance Transport may be able to take you from home to the hospital and back home again. This cannot be booked until 7-10 days prior to the appointment date. You will usually need to travel alone but please discuss your individual needs with them.
Please phone their department on 0300 123 2303 and when asked, you will need to advise them that the scan or treatment is part of a cancer diagnosis and not available in Wales.
