Bladder and Bowel   

Who am I?  

Rebecca (Becky) Parry joined the MS team in 2022 having previously worked as a registered nurse on general medicine wards, and as a district nurse in Cardiff. Through her previous roles Becky developed an interest in bladder and bowel health and provided nursing care for many MS patients, leading to a further interest in this area.  

What do I do?    

MS can affect the bladder and bowel in many ways. I carry out a full assessment of on-going or complex bladder and bowel symptoms that cannot be managed through conservative treatment via your GP. I provide advice and guidance on how to best manage your symptoms, and implement personalised treatment and/or solutions that fit into your day-to-day life.   

What to expect?    

I strive to create a judgement-free zone to talk about symptoms and any concerns, and down-to-earth handling of sensitive topics, free from any embarrassment. My aim is to achieve practical, manageable solutions to troublesome symptoms, improving your daily quality of life.
