Muscle and nerve biopsies require special handling. At least 24 hours’ notice of intention to carry out such biopsies is required. Please ring the Neuropathology section ex 45983.
Biopsies should not be sent without prior notification.
Biopsies must arrive between 9:00am and 3:00pm on the same day they were taken.
