The Integrated Autism Service (IAS) provides training, consultation, and advice to professionals in other services who support autistic individuals or those with suspected autism.
If someone meets the criteria for another service, their primary support should be delivered by that service. However, the IAS can offer specialist advice and joint working to enhance autism knowledge and skills across services.
Examples of support include:
Guidance on adapting assessments and interventions for autistic people
Environmental considerations to support autistic needs
Advice on referral pathways and related queries
