The British Dietetic Association has a useful Food Fact Sheet about Diabetes Type 2 .
The Pocket Medic website has informative short films about eating well with Type 2 Diabetes, including ‘What can I eat?’, ‘Introducing the Eatwell guide’, ‘Healthy Eating'
X-Pert is a 6-week course of group education (2½ hour sessions) to help increase your knowledge, skills and understanding of your diabetes, and help you to make lifestyle choices to manage your blood glucose levels more effectively. The course covers lots of information about healthy eating.
 

Local practical cookery courses are available to help develop skills and confidence in preparing healthy meals. Please note courses do not contain information specific to certain conditions such as diabetes.
