Gypsy Roma Traveller - Unauthorised Encampment Clinic

Cardiff and Vale Health Inclusion Service (CAVHIS) works with Cardiff Council and Gypsy Traveller Wales to offer health clinics at unauthorised encampment sites in Cardiff. These clinics are for people who are not registered with a GP and are staying at temporary roadside sites.

🩺 What We Offer

A GP (doctor) and nurse visit the site with staff from Gypsy Traveller Wales. They offer:

• A health check
• Help getting further care if needed

This service is flexible, and visits are arranged when new encampments appear.

📩 Referrals

Referrals are made by partner organisations to make sure care is joined up and easy to access.
