If you think you need to visit the minor injuries unit, or require support for an injury, please call 111 in the first instance. A call handler from CAV 24/7 will be able to assess your symptoms and advise on the best course of action.
Minor injuries can also be treated at the Emergency Unit at UHW, however the Minor Injuries Unit in Barry Hospital is a dedicated service, that can only be accessed via appointment. Patients are able to attend at an allotted time and receive treatment and follow up outside of the Emergency environment.
