Attend or Cancel: We kindly ask that if you are unable to attend an appointment you contact Occupational Health as early as possible to let us know. This allows us to offer the appointment to another client. Each missed appointment costs £160.00 and failure to cancel appointments leads to longer waiting times for others. Thank you.

We are concerned with the following:

  • The effects work can have on your health

  • The effects your health may have on your ability to work

We aim to:

  • Promoting health and safety awareness

  • Optimizing high levels of fitness

  • Promoting healthy living

  • Protecting employees from risks arising in their workplace

What services do we provide?

Referrals

As of September 2023, we have changed to a new Occupational Health system. This means that Managers wishing to refer to Occupational Health will now need to refer via Opas G2. For more information on how to request an account and how to create a Management Referral, please see our SharePoint page. Cardiff & Vale Occupational Health Service - Home (sharepoint.com)

Staff members who are struggling in the workplace due to a health issue can self-refer in writing or over the phone, please also read the IG Guide for Employees.
