Video appointments are offered so that patients can conveniently see their healthcare professional online, providing greater flexibility from the comfort of their own home.
Our video appointments are fully secure and confidential, ensuring patients receive the same high-quality care as they would in person—without the need to travel, leave home, or find parking.
Where clinically appropriate, patients may be offered a video or telephone appointment for added convenience. If patients are offered a video consultation, it means their healthcare professional has deemed it safe and suitable for their care.
How to attend a video call
Video appointments can be accessed via the internet from a computer, tablet or mobile phone using the Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox or Safari web browsers. Computer users will also need a web camera (usually built into laptops) and a headset or speakers. Appointments are free to attend if you are using your Wi-Fi. If you are using a mobile phone we suggest that you activate Wi-Fi to avoid using your data allowance, which may cost you depending on your mobile phone package.
