During your visit to children's outpatients you will need to book in using the electronic kiosks, so please bring your letter with you. You will then need to wait in the waiting area where there is a Cafe' and play area. There is also a garden which can be used during the summer months.

Your team may contact you to visit a virtual clinic called Attend Anywhere . All you need is a mobile device/tablet/computer with a web camera and speaker connection. The device you choose must have a Google Chrome or Safari web browser. Your clinician will send you details on how to use this system (should your child's visit be suitable for a virtual appointment)
You will wait with your child in the "online waiting room" - your medical team will know you are there. If you have any difficulty connecting to your appointment, please call 02920 743368 and the team will try and help you.
Your GP may refer your child for a blood test , so you will have to telephone to book this appointment prior to attending. Telephone - 02920 743368
There are hearing loops at all reception desks in outpatients
Breastfeeding and Baby Changing
There is a breastfeeding room in Outpatients and on the wards should this be required. There are also baby changing facilities.
Toilets and Changing Facilities
There are a number of public toilets throughout the Outpatients area and there is a changing facility in Starfish Outpatients for older children/young people. You will need to ask staff to direct you to this area
Adult changing facilities are available in Adult Outpatients.
Cash Machine
There is a cash machine in both children's Outpatients and in the main concourse.
Interpreter Services
If you require and interpreter, please request this prior to your Outpatient appointment and this can be arranged. You can also request to meet with an interpreter whilst on the ward if your are meeting with a consultant to discuss your child's medical care.
