Health Board Staff Take On 10YFan Challenge to Raise Funds for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity

On Saturday 9th May 2026, five members of staff from Cardiff and Vale University Health Board will be taking on the formidable 10YFan Challenge to raise funds for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity.
10YFan is a gruelling endurance event that challenges participants to climb Pen y Fan ten times within 24 hours. It is a true test of physical fitness, mental resilience, and sheer determination.
The team is proudly fundraising for Cardiff & Vale Health Charity, which supports patients, families, and staff across local NHS services. The charity funds enhanced equipment, wellbeing initiatives, and opportunities that go beyond core NHS funding - making a real and lasting difference to patient experiences.
