Children who missed nasal spray flu vaccine in school invited to final drop-in clinics

Children who missed their nasal spray flu vaccine in school can attend one of three final catch-up sessions being organised this month.

The School Nursing Immunisation Team has arranged the drop-in clinics in Cardiff and Vale’s three Mass Vaccination Centres for all those in Reception to Year 11 who have not had the flu vaccine this academic year.

They will take place on the following dates and times:

Wednesday, January 10 (3.45pm-5.45pm) - Maelfa Wellbeing Hub, Llanedeyrn, Cardiff, CF23 9PF

Monday, January 15 (3.45pm-5.45pm) - Rookwood Hospital, Fairwater Road, Cardiff, CF5 2YN

Thursday, January 18 (3.45pm-5.45pm) - Barry Hospital, Colcot Road, Barry CF62 8YH

In these walk-in clinics, vaccinations will be available on a first come, first serve basis and will be subject to availability.

If you have not completed a form already, please complete it from the link sent to you by your child’s school.

If you are unsure whether your child has received their nasal flu vaccine in school this academic year, please call 02920 907661/664.
