Supported internships help give people experience at work.

This makes it easier to get a job in the future.

This is why supported internships are important.

 

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has supported internship options.

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has helped 32 young people with a supported internship.

13 young people are working for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board after their supported internship.

A supported internship at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has:

  • Work in different areas of the organisation
  • Someone to help if you do not understand something
  • A class to learn
  • Training for interviews

 

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board runs supported internships with the help of:

  • Local Councils
  • Local Education Authorities

 

Young people that want to join a supported internship need to talk to their teacher.
