If this happened ‘Out of Hours’ then please contact the ward you are book on to ASAP, and inform them you are not able to work the shift.
If this is in normal hours then please contact the Temporary Staffing Department. Please try and give as much notice as possibly to help us fill the shift you are canceling
If this happens out of hours the Site Practitioner will be contacted, and it is likely you will be moved to another clinical area.

If you haven’t worked a shift in 3 months, you will need to make contact with the Temporary Staffing Department first before booking any shifts.
This will depend on what shift pattern the clinical areas release, but the majority of areas work a 12 hours shift pattern.
This is dependent on if you chose to be paid weekly or monthly. The pay dates, along with the cut off dates for when your shifts need to be verified by can be found on the Rosterpro website. In addition please be mindful that it will depend on when your shifts get verified by the wards you have worked on.
The opt in for weekly pay would have been discussed at interview.
Also at interview you will be auto enrolled in the Cardiff and Vale UHB pension. If you don’t wish to be part of the pension scheme, you need to opt out.
