Minor Injuries Unit - Barry Hospital

The Minor Injuries Unit at Barry Hospital is an appointment-only service designed to treat a range of minor injuries or illnesses.

These can include:

• Limb injuries (broken bones or fractures)
• Wounds, grazes and minor burns
• Head or face injuries provided there is no loss of consciousness
• Eye, ear and nose injuries and foreign bodies
• Rib injuries
• Insect, animal and human bites

The service can be accessed by calling 111 and booking an appointment. This is not a walk-in service. 

The Minor Injuries Unit is open Monday to Friday 9.00am - 3.30pm, including bank holidays.

Please note that the Unit is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and on Christmas Day.
