Surgery Clinical Board

The Surgery Clinical Board has seven directorates which provide a significant number of emergency and elective services to Cardiff and Vale residents.

These include:

• Trauma and Orthopaedics
• General Surgery
• Urology
• Ear Nose and Throat (ENT)
• Ophthalmology.
• Dental
• Perioperative care 

In addition to direct service provision for the local community of Cardiff and the Vale, the Surgery Clinical Board provides a significant number of services beyond the local population at both the University Hospital of Wales and University Hospital Llandough.
