If you have sustained a lower limb injury, A&E may have fitted you with a splint or boot to immobilise and support your injury. It is important that you wear the splint or boot as advised. In most circumstances your support can be removed to allow you to wash and dress.
We will be able to give you specific advice on how to do this while still protecting your injury. We do not reuse boots or splints. When you are finished with yours it can be discarded.
