Community Pharmacy 

Your community pharmacist should be your first port of call for healthcare advice or over the counter treatment for a minor illness. 

Your community pharmacist can also provide treatment or advice for common ailments, emergency and oral contraception and some pharmacist independent prescribers can prescribe the necessary medication, without the need for you to make an appointment with a GP.
