News - Barry Clinic

Starting on the 10th of September, we are moving our Barry clinic from Broad Street to Barry Hospital. Please note the following changes:
WHEN? Every Wednesday, walk in depo provera clinic from 10:00 am - 11:45 am
WHERE? Barry Hospital, Colcot Road, Barry. CF62 8YH. Come in via the main entrance and turn left. Follow the signs for Outpatients. You will walk past the Minor Injuries Unit and come to a waiting room. Our reception desk is shared with the Pelvic Health Commuity Hub.

Contraceptive pill |
The contraceptive pill is available for free in some community pharmacies. You can see if your local pharmacy provides a contraception service by clicking here. Alternatively, we provide the contraceptive pill (for repeat prescriptions only) in our drop-in clinics on: Weekdays between 8:30am - 9:00am |

Contraceptive injection (depo provera / sayana press) |

Fertility Awareness Methods (FAMs) |
Fertility UK provides some detailed information on FAMs including downloadable charts. Please note we do not support this method and it is strongly advised to consult with an experienced practitioner if you wish to use FAMs alone as your contraceptive method. |
