Angela Andrews is a Neuropharmacist and trained at Cardiff University qualifying in 2005. After working within several different clinical areas in secondary care and primary care she became the Cardiff and Vale lead pharmacist for Neurosciences in 2017. She developed a special interest in multiple sclerosis and works closely with the team to advise on medicine issues, check prescriptions and arrange medicine supply. More recently she has been involved in the set up and running of a clinic initiating and monitoring patients on fampridine using her non-medical prescribers qualification.

What do I do?
I advise the team and patients on medicines related issues
I check prescriptions and arrange the supply of some of the medicines used for MS
I am involved in the clinics for prescribing and reviewing Fampridine.

I can help answer queries about your medicines (e.g. interactions between different medicines, side effects, information about vaccines).
I can speak to you on the phone or speak to you when you come to clinic . I can also speak to your community pharmacist or GP if needed.
