This NHS service allows you to see a pharmacist independent prescriber for things like ear infections, sore throats, UTIs or contraception.
They will assess your condition within a community pharmacy in a private consultation room, and prescribe the necessary medication, without the need for you to make an appointment with a GP.
The pharmacies that offer this service can be found on the NHS 111 Wales website by following this link and selecting ‘Independent Prescribing for Common Ailments and Contraception’ from the filter column.
