Daniel manages a Mental Health Rehabilitation Ward which cares for adults with a primary diagnosis of psychotic disorder.
The nursing and healthcare team Daniel works alongside provides support for patients to develop independence in functional skills, management of their mental health while exploring their occupational potential.
Daniel provides support and supervision to ensure robust rehabilitation assessments and treatment plans are provided, whilst maintaining high standards of care.
Daniel worked as a Health Care Support Worker for two years before progressing into nursing.
He completed a Bachelor of Honours Degree in Mental Health Nursing in 2015, and has since gained experience across Community, Neuropsychiatry, Addictions and Acute Services.
Since taking on the role of Deputy Ward Manager at Cardiff and Vale UHB, Daniel has also been offered a fully funded Level 4 Diploma in Leadership and Management.
