Athira Premachandran

Programme Support Officer

 

Athira joined the Local Public Health Team in March 2025 and supports the delivery of the Immunisation and Health Protection portfolios. Her work focuses on building collaboration and engaging with communities to support equitable access to services. She relies on evidence and community insight to inform her work and brings multilingual experience that supports inclusive engagement with diverse communities.

She completed her MSc in Public Health in 2023 and is a registered physiotherapist. Athira has worked internationally in community and clinical settings, bringing experience from research, neurological and musculoskeletal practice, and community-based rehabilitation. 

She has a strong interest in a whole-systems approach to preventative care and reducing health inequalities

Cat Siviter

Food Vale Project Support Officer

Cat Siviter joined the Food Vale team in 2023 and supports the delivery of the Sustainable Food Places Programme in the Vale of Glamorgan. She coordinates the Vale Food Insecurity Working Group, working collaboratively to address local food insecurity. With experience across both public and private sectors, Cat brings a strong background in food and nutrition. She has a passion for cooking and is committed to promoting practical food literacy in local communities. 

Daniel Levy

Principal Analyst

 

Dan joined the local public health team in January 2025.

He has worked and volunteered in various roles from the Gastrointestinal Society of Canada, to the Academy of Medical Sciences in London.

He began volunteering with the NHS during the Covid-19 pandemic, and has been working in data-orientated roles within the NHS since. These have ranged from managing paediatric oncology research data on the ward, to data engineering, analytics, and dashboard development within the sphere of Business Intelligence.

Dan was awarded a PhD in the immunology of Parkinson’s disease from the University of Cambridge in 2018 where he also holds an MRes, and has a degree in Biochemistry from Imperial College London.

Eno Usoroh

Programme Support Officer

 

Eno joined the local public health team at Cardiff and Vale University Health Board in October 2024 as a Programme Support Officer. Before joining the NHS, Eno worked with the BAME Mental Health Support (BMHS) service, a Swansea based not-for-profit organisation focused on fostering mental wellness in the BAME community through targeted education, advocacy and signposting for further care.

Eno is an international medical graduate, with experience in health promotion, health protection, healthcare financing, and disease control, acquired during her work in Nigeria and other African countries. She also has a Master’s degree in Public Health and a recently completed MSc in Health Informatics from Swansea University, equipping her with the knowledge and skills to navigate the multi-sectoral and multi-agency landscape of public health.

Eno is eager to leverage her skills and experience to advance the vision and strategic objectives of the team, aiming to achieve the best possible outcomes for the communities we serve.

Louise Denham

Food Vale Coordinator

 

Louise joined the team in 2020 as coordinator of Food Vale – the sustainable food partnership for the Vale of Glamorgan.

Working with diverse partners and through the Sustainable Food Places framework, she coordinates action to build a thriving, healthy and sustainable local food system using place-based approaches.

She has a background working in sustainable food supply chains and sustainable travel, both from a community and business angle.

Louise completed an MSc in Sustainable Development in Practice from the University of the West of England, and is passionate about applying this to create inclusive, healthy food environments which nurture a love of good food.

Patrick Collins-Walsh

Public Health Programme Manager

Patrick joined the Local Public Health Team in July 2025, bringing with him a wealth of experience from various roles across Cardiff and Vale University Health Board. His background spans business management, project and programme delivery, as well as improvement and innovation. Patrick recently completed an MSc in Leading Digital Transformation and is currently finalising his ILM Level 7 qualification. Within the team, he is contributing to the Good Food & Movement programme and supporting work across the Prevent & Early Years portfolio.
