CAV 24/7

CAV 24/7 is an innovative service in Cardiff and Vale that provides patients in need of urgent, or out of hours care, access to clinicians who are able to assess symptoms appropriately and arrange for meaningful next steps to take place. We welcome phone calls in Welsh and in English.

CAV 24/7 can be accessed by calling 111.

If a patient is feeling unwell and requires urgent care, they are advised to check their symptoms online using the NHS 111 Wales symptom checker, https://111.wales.nhs.uk/SelfAssessments/ or to call 111 if it is not a life-threatening emergency, but it is urgent.

In the case of a life-threatening emergency, call 999.
