Executive Director of People and Culture

Rachel was appointed as Executive Director of People and Culture for Cardiff and Vale UHB in March 2021

Rachel career has been diverse starting in a clinical role and then gaining significant experience in senior roles in leadership and Education. Rachel has over 30 years’ experience in Cardiff and Vale UHB

Rachel gained the role the role of Assistant Director of Organisational Development in 2017, where she led some key cultural initiatives such as Amplify 2025 and the Apprenticeship Academy , as well as her strategic experience in designing and delivering the workforce and OD plan for the Dragons Heart Hospital.

Rachel is passionate about leading the people and culture agenda to support individuals to make a difference in healthcare.
