The UHW Lakeside Wing is a temporary building on our site as we have been granted emergency planning permission by Cardiff Council to build this short-term facility to accommodate extra capacity should we need it during winter and the pandemic.
We will continue to monitor the capacity at both the surge hospital and our sites and will communicate when the decision has been made to close the UHW Lakeside Wing.
