We and others have studied responses to the COVID-19 vaccine in people with MS. We found that people receiving certain DMTs (mainly ocrelizumab and fingolimod) had slightly weaker responses to COVID vaccines, but this was helped by receiving additional boosters of the vaccine. We recommend all people with MS on DMTs accept the COVID vaccine as any protection is likely to be better than none.
