Community Dental Service FAQ

You will need to be referred by your dentist, or if you have a medical condition you may be referred in by your doctor.

If your problem gets better and you no longer need to attend, please ensure you let us know so we may offer the appointment to someone else.  If your problem worsens, you must visit your referring practitioner as he / she is responsible for your care and pain relief whilst you await your first appointment with us.

If you do not have a dentist then you must seek care via the emergency dental helpline via CAV 24/7 on 0300 10 20 247.

Please let us know, either by telephone (029 20 190175) or by post if your personal details change.
