|The Pelican Zone cares for children with cardiac and renal conditions. All the rooms have water systems so that haemodialysis can be delivered in all bays. There is also one dark room for ECHO examinations.|
|Pelican Zone joins with Island Ward, which is one of the medical wards.|
The second medical ward is Jungle Ward which is located in Phase One so all medical children are located across one floor. This ward cares for all medical cases and children requiring tertiary medical care such as sleep studies and long term ventilation. Neuro-telemetry services are provided from this ward.
The ward mainly comprises single rooms, all with en-suite facilities (wet rooms to enable direct wheelchair access for the long term / complex needs children). The bedrooms have pull-down beds for parents to stay alongside their child. Parents also have facilities including sitting rooms and small kitchens for their convenience.
There is a large family room, counselling rooms and sensory rooms on both medical and surgical floors.
This floor also houses our new multi-faith facility, equipment library, speciality feed kitchen and the main Children's kitchen.
Noah's Ark Charity offices are located on Land Floor.
