The UHB Volunteer Manager, Michelle Fowler, said: “Coming into hospital as a patient, visitor or carer can be quiet stressful if you’re not sure where to go. Our facilities are growing all the time, making it more difficult for people to find their way from one place to another, and this is one of the main reasons why we are looking to provide additional support. By having volunteers supporting in these areas we hope to make a difference to the experience of patients, visitors and carers experience whilst they are attending the hospital."

Voluntary Services cannot offer work experience placements or shadowing opportunities. If you are interested in arranging a work experience placement, you will need to contact our Work Experience department.
